Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BENEDICT is an adorable Black Lab puppy who would like to find a family and a home where he can learn and grow up to be a good dog. Benedict is about 3 months old. He weighed 16 pounds in December and we expect he will grow to be a medium to large-sized dog once fully grown. He is in the process of getting his puppy shots and will get his rabies vaccine during the first week of February at which time he will be ready for adoption. He has been neutered and microchipped. He is too young to test for heartworm but he has been on monthly heartworm and flea prevention since he was rescued. His foster says that Benedict is very cute and so gentle. He is a little on the shy side but loves children and seems to like kids better than he likes strangers. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Benedict if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer rescue to cover at least part of the cost of the veterinary care this dog has received.
