Wendy (JD)'s Story...
Hey I'm just a little pup. There's not much I can really tell you about myself yet except I'm going to grow up to movie star dog. Everybody's gotta dream right? For now I'm looking for someone to watch shows with me since I need to know my art. And while that's going on, this someone might take me into their lap and give me long strokes, especially around my ears. I love that (groan). And maybe this someone is going to give me treats and a bed and a leash and walk me all around showing me off. Could that someone be you?

Wendy was rescued by a Poochmatch volunteer from a dumpster where she had been abandoned. Wendy is between 5 and 6 months of age. Very sweet puppy. She will attend our adoption event this weekend at the Petsmart of Yorba Linda (5521 Mirage St.) from 1-5 PM

If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy (JD), a Santa Ana Dachshund/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Rottweiler for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Dachshund/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Rottweiler breeders who help with Dachshund/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
