Bambi was rescued by a Poochmatch volunteer who lived in the same neighborhood as Bambi and her owners. They kept this small dog outside in the yard, rain or shine and our volunteer asked if they would allow her to take Bambi - they agreed and told our volunteer to come back the next day. When our volunteer came back she found Bambi outside, again, and when she called the owners they had left to go on vacation and left Bambi outside! Luckily our volunteer was able to pick Bambi up that day - she was infested with fleas, severely underweight and she had parvo. Luckily her rescuer was able to nurse her back to health and, as you can see, Bambi is quite the dainty lady now! She does great with other dogs, she is leash-trained and house-trained. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, necessary vaccinations, fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
