Bambi is an NYCACC survivor, rescued by Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. She is 2 years old and 56 pounds. Bambi is up to date on shots, and will be spayed prior to placement in a forever home. It was recommended that Bambi not be placed in a home with younger children because she did show some resource guarding with high value treats (kong with peanut butter). Her foster will work with her and assess if this was simply due to the shelter environment and the fact that she had been brought in as a stray and had been scrounging for food. Bambi does well with other people, and she knows basic commands such as sit, and shake. She is leash trained and corrects easily. Shelter volunteers state that she does take treats nicely from the hand. If you would like to adopt Bambi, please put your application in here: http://www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org
