Ricky's Story...
Ricky and his sister, Lucy, were rescued from a farm. The owners fed the cats but they were kept outside & lived in a barn. They were skinny when we got them since it's hard for kittens to compete with the adults for food. These two kittens were so sweet we couldn't leave them there. They are about 8 weeks old. Lucy is the quiet one but she does like to play. Ricky is more active and loves to play. He is also polydactyl which means he has extra toes on his front paws. They would be a great pair to keep you entertained and loved. If you are interested in adopting them please contact Chris at coglebay@sccoast.net or 843-488-4599.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky, a Myrtle Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Myrtle Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Myrtle Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Myrtle Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Myrtle Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Myrtle Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
