Begerra came from a breeder in Miami, had not been socialized at all, so she is very shy and fearful. Begerra is slowly starting to come around. She needs a family that will be gentle, patient & slow with her. As a puppy she would like company, like any other puppy would. She likes other dogs, unsure about cats. Begerra truly needs a loving, patient family & home she could call her own so she could have the structure & security she needs to become a beautiful, playful puppy that she deserves to be. If you are that kind of person or family, please come & meet Begerra.

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
