UPDATE: MAR 24, 3017:
Maya is a beautiful smokey grey cat that, in spite of her circumstances, is settling in quite well. She was a feral little kitten, taken in by a lovely woman when she was about 12 weeks old. She gave her a wonderful, loving home, and the very best vet care for 14 years.
Recently she was diagnosed with a terminal illness and unfortunately passed away in December. She never dreamed her pets would outlive her. When I met with her in September, her pets welfare was her only concern. Knowing that they would be taken care of and that we would work to find them another wonderful home gave her a great sense of peace.
Maya was a feral kitten that grew to love and trust her owner 100%. It takes her a little while to trust new people, but she is doing very well at the shelter and already seeking affection....see her video!
She loves to perch on things way up high and observe what is going on below her. She is very affectionate and vocal. She is totally vetted.
Please come meet her, spend time with , fall in love with her......and consider giving her a home that was just as loving as her last one.
Maya needs to be on meds for a thyroid condition.
