My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY:  Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NC is not to be held responsible for the health or temperament of this dog.  We have agreed to do this courtesy posting to help this family find a new forever home for their sweet cocker girl.  Contact person is: Amanda Rausch, send email to:  amandagrausch@gmail.com. if you are interested.

***There is an adoption fee of $200 and vet references will be required and checked to make sure that this sweet cocker girl gets the home that she deserves.

My name is Emma and I am looking for a new forever home and someone to love me for the special girl that I am. I am a sweet, 7 year old black n white, pure bred English Cocker Spaniel (Field Breed).  My owners love me dearly and I have had a great life with them. They have had a change of work schedule and will soon get very busy and have long hours. This means that I will not get the attention and love that I am used to and I will be alone for long time periods before they come home.  Knowing that this is not fair to me, they want me to find a home with a new owner who can give me love, attention and the happy life that I deserve in a home environment where I will not be left alone a lot.

I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and I have been kept on heartworm prevention, so I am heartworm negative. I have no behavioral issues and I am a healthy girl. I am house trained and crate trained. I will do best in a home that has a fenced yard or always leash walked when I go outside. I am good with children, other dogs and I am good with cats.  I ride well in a car, love the water and I have been trained to stay off of the furniture. I love to be walked or go on hikes to get some exercise.  My owners will have a hard time giving me up, so they want to find me the perfect forever home where I will be loved, comfortable and well taken care of.  If you are interested in adopting me, the contact information is shown below.  My family will be happy to hear from you and will answer questions and discuss the details. I am a real sweetheart and will be a wonderful companion for you to adopt and love.
