Approximate Age: 2-3 y/o
Weight: Approx. 50-55 lbs.
Demeanor: friendly and outgoing, With new introductions she can be timid or shy at times but warms up quickly.
Energy Level- Medium to high energy
Outgoing/Social- very social and loves to play with every dog and person she meets!
Submissive/Dominant- not dominate or submissive
Affectionate- Jazz is very affectionate! She loves to cuddle and give kisses! She does get excited but we are working on greeting people calmly.
Likes/Dislikes:. She loves to play and is learning to fetch. She also loves stuffed animals, treats, She had some separation anxiety in the begging but has made huge improvements and is realizing someone will come back! Jazz loves car rides and going for walks so she can explore and take in all the new sights/scents!
Young children- She does well with our 5 y/o daughter and knows how to soft mouth and play gently. She is also aware of her size around her and is gentle.
Cats- Good with cats
Other Dogs- She does well with dogs of all ages and loves to play and run around with them! She is a big girl so sometimes she needs to be reminded of that around the little ones.
Fetch- Jazz is learning how to fetch the ball, Frisbee, stick, and stuffed animals. She does well but can get distracted by other dogs playing!
She loves stuffed animals, plastic bottles, Chuck-it balls, tennis balls, Frisbee, – anything she can play with!
Manners: She knows sit and wait, stay, off, we are working on down/lay, she knows go lay down and no. Jazz is progressing well with sitting before she goes for walks and before she comes back in. She is also learning to sit and wait for food and treats.
House Trained- She is house trained. Jazz uses the dog door or goes for walks but if it is locked, she will whine to let you know she has to potty.
Crate Trained- She is crate trained. We are working on her not whining while in it. (separation) She is making strides of progress with this!
Leash Trained- Jazz knows the leash means walk time and she gets excited! She has been doing well with the no-pull harness and a collar.
Jazz is an amazingly sweet girl! She has so much to offer a potential family. When she is inside the house she is calm and likes to be near people. She will lay on her dog bed or just be a couch potato!
Jazz will make a great addition to any family!
