Mary Poppins was rescued from a shelter by a volunteer along with her litter mate Maria. They were scared and cowering in their cage and were set to be euthanized. She took them home and rehabilitated them, and they are now ready to find their forever families. Mary is an energetic typical 1 year old lab with lots of love and energy. She does great with kids over 10, she is still too jumpy and excitable for younger kids though will continue to improve with training in a family so if you have experience and younger kids, we will consider you too! Mary weighs about 45 lbs and is just 1 year old. She is great with dogs, cats, and humans of all sorts and is house trained! She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but you can make friends by just moving slowly at first. Maria just loves to snuggle, and play with other dogs, and was in heaven when we brushed her the first time for almost an hour. She has brown parts to her fur on the sides that doesn't show well in pictures, and she is a shorter girl with plush fur and a curled tail.
