My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is an adorable, darling 15 pound Poodle mix. He was given up by an elderly woman because her health had declined to the point that she could not take care of Duke any longer. Duke went to animal control in a small town, and we were alerted to his status and got him out of dog jail within hours.

Duke is so sweet and gentle. He likes to sit in your lap or stay close. He is calm and loving. Right now, he's a bit timid being in such a new circumsance and having gone through the trauma of losing his home, going to dog jail and then into a foster home with other dogs. Before that, Duke had always lived as an only dog.

Duke has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.00.
