Duke's Info...

Duke's Story...
Duke is an adorable, darling 15 pound Poodle mix. He was given up by an elderly woman because her health had declined to the point that she could not take care of Duke any longer. Duke went to animal control in a small town, and we were alerted to his status and got him out of dog jail within hours.

Duke is so sweet and gentle. He likes to sit in your lap or stay close. He is calm and loving. Right now, he's a bit timid being in such a new circumsance and having gone through the trauma of losing his home, going to dog jail and then into a foster home with other dogs. Before that, Duke had always lived as an only dog.

Duke has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization located in Atlanta, GA. The adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we will contact you to schedule a time for you to meet Duke.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Atlanta Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
