Facts about Badeera

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 219452
  • Hair: Short
Badeera is definitely a dark and handsome fellow, even if he's not particularly tall. This friendly boy should do well in almost any home situation, either with adults of any age or as the furry member of a family whose polite children are age 6 and above. In his previous home Badeera lived with an older cat who did not treat him well. Although he might enjoy the companionship of a mellow cat once careful introductions have been made, he would probably be delighted to be the sole object of your attention and affection. No dogs please, as he is afraid of them.

Badeera will appreciate a small space to call his own for a while as he adjusts to his new living arrangement. In addition to a comfy bed, basket or box for naps, food and water dishes, a scratching board or post, a tall cat tree or perch near a sunny window will allow him to view any activity outside while keeping him safe from the dangers of being outdoors. He will enjoy frequent visits from you- soft words of reassurance as well as plenty of petting and grooming will get his purr motor up and running. Interactive play with wand teaser toys will be a great way to help him relax and bond with you. Soon he'll be ready to check out the rest of his new home but leave the way open for him to return to his sanctuary.

As a young cat his former guardian has indicated that Badeera had some litter box issues which were resolved by changing to a wet food only diet. Provide him with a generously-sized litter box filled with unscented, clumping, sand-like litter and keep it immaculately clean to encourage his continuing good habits.

Badeera is a sweet guy who is ready to warm your heart, your lap and your life as your devoted companion for years to come.
