Cheetos's Story...

My former family rescued me from a high-kill pound in 2013. Now they are being forced to give me up by difficult circumstances. They are looking for a good new home for me since they have to leave the country. They are heartbroken but under the circumstances, this is the best thing they can do for me. They never considered dumping me at a pound because they care for me. Lucky me, my mom reached Forte Animal Rescue and that’s why I’m here. I was living with a rescued Doberman and 2 rescued Chihuahuas and we got along fine. My Doberman sister passed away 2 months ago at age 14 from heart failure. My Chihuahua brother and sister got adopted separately by wonderful families. Needless to say, I’m a bit confused about all these changes in my life, and need someone kind to adopt me. I love to hug and kiss my humans, I love to go for walks and to chase squirrels. I also love to relax in my bed. I promise that I will be your most loyal hound for the rest of my life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheetos, a Marina del Rey Australian Cattle Dog/Belgian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Belgian Shepherd for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Belgian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Belgian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Belgian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
