My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsa is a stunning three year old white German Shepherd female (photos do not reflect her true beauty). Her paperwork from the shelter reflects that she is not a mix? Elsa (Snow) was dumped at Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control by her owners on July 5, 2016. Her weight at that time was 94 lbs. This beautiful and loving girl was in boarding for a few months then adopted to what would have been the most amazing forever home for her. Unfortunately, her new daddy had a heart attack, is in the hospital and not doing well. He will no longer be able to care for Elsa and has returned her. Elsa is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is healthy however as most large dogs, X Rays reflect minor signs of hip dysplasia . Foster mom has placed Elsa on weight management food to assist with losing weight. Elsa now weighs 72lbs and looks so beautiful. Elsa is housebroken, good on leash/in car/with people (a little shy when first meeting strangers), good with small dogs and ok with some large dogs as long as they are calm and not dominant.
Please open your heart and home to this amazing girl who just wants to be by her humans side and loved. Elsa is a couch potato however does like to go for walks and play. A large fenced in yard would be wonderful, or someone who loves to take long walks. Please contact JoAnn 561-313-2005 or joann@destinyfordogs.com.
