Lady's Story...
Hello. My name is Lady and I'm a very, very nice dog...at least that's what my foster mom says about me. I'm about 2 yrs. old, sweet-natured, and very polite. I know several obedience commands, am very well-behaved in the house, like all the members of my family. I also like my foster K9 sister...we play together well. I enjoy playing, spending active time outside, but also enjoy chilling out in the family room, while everyone is watching TV or doing their work. I'm an easy-going girl and can adjust to a new environment fairly quickly. Would you like to meet me? Please contact wagsfund@gmail.com to set up a meet and greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
