Bella came to LOA needing immediate help. She had a pretty serious injury to the inside of one of her back legs and needed vet care right away. After several weeks of medications and TLC, she is completely healed and has integrated herself into her foster home as the established Queen of all she sees. Lol She lives with two male cats and can co-exist just fine, but she really seems to prefer all of the attention for herself. So a home with a submissive existing cat might be okay, but she would be very happy as an “only child” also. Her favorite things are to have a stool or chair pulled up to the window where she can chatter to the birds, little toy mice she can toss around and FOOD! She doesn’t miss a meal! Bella is loving and sweet with her foster mom and has no problem asking for attention. Her fur is super soft and she loves to be petted on your lap or behind your shoulders sitting on the sofa. After just a couple of minutes with a newcomer, she greets all of the new guests into the home and seems to be quite confident and loving to all. Bella has a sweet playful side, but not the frenetic energy of a kitten – she “chills” for most of the day. Do you have room in your home and heart for this Calico beauty? Write to us at adopt.littleorphanangels@yahoo.com for more information or come by and see us most Saturdays at the North Richland Hills Petsense Store (5615 Rufe Snow Drive) from 11-3p.

About Little Orphan Angels Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

LOA wants to make every adoption permanent, so we will work with you to find you the cat that fits your household. We offer a two week "sleep over" where you become the cat's foster parent just to see how the cat fits with your household. After two weeks, if the cat fits your household the adoption is finalized. We also have a behaviorist on staff to help if any issues arise.

About LOA:
Little Orphan Angels Animal Rescue (LOA) is a 501c(3), non-profit, humane animal organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of companion cats and dogs, which are needlessly euthanized because they are homeless. LOA has existed for over a decade.

LOA promotes responsible pet guardianship by requiring all adopted animals to be tested and vaccinated for diseases, examined by qualified veterinarians and spayed or neutered at the appropriate age.

LOA screens potential adoption applicants to ensure that the adoption of an animal has the highest possible chance for a successful, lifelong placement.

LOA is also dedicated to educating the public about the plight of homeless animals and the need to control over-population through spay and neutering.

Our Adoption Process...

LOA Adoption Process:

1. Connect with a cat during our adoption events at Petsmart.
2. Work with the LOA adoption coordinator to determine if that cat is the right fit for your household. If not, another cat may be suggested.
3. Fill out an application. Only once you are approved, can you move forward in the process.
4. For two weeks, the cat comes to your house for a “sleep over” and you become their foster parent. This is to ensure the cat fits into your household.
5. If the cat does fit your household, then after two weeks LOA and you will finalize the adoption. If the cat is not a match, LOA will work with you to determine a cat that may work better for your household.
6. Once adopted, LOA is there with behavioral support and nail trims. You are not on your own.
