My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timesly would be the perfect addition to any household that is looking for a new four-legged baby! I think she is about 8-9 weeks old, a shepherd-golden retriever mix. She is currently about 15 pounds, but I estimate she will grow to be a medium to large sized dog. She was found roaming in Comer, nervous and shy, but it turns out all she needed was a little bit of love! She quickly blossomed into a goofy, happy bundle of puppy love.

Timesly is also super smart! In less than a week (and at such a young age!) she is already crate trained, has learned to sit and lie down, and also can sit and wait for food and at doors. She sleeps through the night with only a little whimpering when first put into her crate. She has also already picked up on a neat trick from her doggy foster siblings: she already knows to ring the bells at the back door when she needs to go potty! In fact, she has not had a single accident inside yet! Of course, she is still a puppy and gets frequent potty breaks at her foster home, so this is not to say she is completely potty trained yet. Timesly also listens really well to corrections – she only needs to be told a couple of times that something is not hers (shoes, etc) before she will leave it alone and play with her own toys instead.

Timesly has the typical puppy energy, and in turn will probably need a moderate amount of exercise to keep her from getting herself into trouble. So far, at her foster home, she has learned to walk politely on leash. Sometimes she even goes for short jogs without weaving and tripping her human up, quite a feat for such a little puppy! I do not think there are many family types that she would not fit into. I think she would do well with children, around other dogs, and probably cats if introduced correctly. Since she is so young, however, just remember that she does play with her mouth and she would have to be watched around small children to teach her that is not appropriate play behavior.

Overall, Timesly is a wonderful little girl who would be a perfect addition to almost any home.
