Zena's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zena's Story...
Poor Zena found herself in a rural TN pound and she was just a baby! This sweet girl is now about 12 weeks old and is ready for her own family! She is in a foster home with other dogs and loves them - she also has a child in that foster home and does great with him as well. Zena is using a doggy door and doing good on housebreaking. This girl will do wonderfully in just about any family! If you'd like to add Zena to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Zena is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zena, a Staunton Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
