Madelaine's Story...
New Pictures! Madelaine may have a slight case of grumpy face but she is very friendly! She loves meeting new people and has the cutest little chirp to say hi!

Miss Madelaine is a sweet and affectionate lady that was found as a stray. She had a injury to her back from being lost on the streets for some time before she befriended a kind citizen who brought her down to our facility. The injury is healing, and she has been into our vet for a full checkup. Madelaine is around 4.5 years old. She is a great little girl that loves to meet new people, and will be a great addition to her new household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madelaine, a Port Coquitlam Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Coquitlam, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Port Coquitlam.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Coquitlam already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Coquitlam breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Coquitlam paves the way for another one to be saved.
