Gatsby's Story...
Gatsby black & tan in color but he's no B&T, he almost looks like he has some beagle in him because she's short. A very laid back boy and so far not much in the way of barking. Gatsby is 3-5 years old and about 50 pounds and very easy to handle on the leash. He seems to be well behaved and should be good around children. He has made friends with all the humans at the shelter and is good around the other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gatsby, a Elmwood Park Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
