Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harvey is a 5 year old adorable little Terripoo (terrier/poodle mix). He weighs all of 10 pounds. Harvey had a rough time being in the shelter. He was absolutely sure that his person was coming back for him. He watched the pathway vigilantly, afraid to take his eyes off the door to eat or sleep, fearing he might miss her when she came. Of course, she never did.

Harvey is a little dreamboat of a dog. He is soft, with silky white and apricot fur, and warm, twinkly brown eyes and a cute little smile. He is very sweet, loves to cuddle and go for walks or a ride in the car. He gives sweet little kisses. He likes to make full eye contact with his big brown puppy eyes, brimming with love.

Harvey is a pretty mellow fellow too. He enjoys cuddling on the couch, lying under your chair while you work, and waiting for the right moment to show you his belly for a nice rub. Harvey is not excessively barky. He barks at dangerous intruders like the UPS guy, garbage truck, etc., but that is his job.

Harvey is working hard on his house-training and has made excellent progress (although potty habit reinforcement is needed in any new environment). He is learning the joys and advantages of having a dog door. He is a fast study in this department as well.

Harvey is learning to be crate-trained, but really wants to sleep in the big bed with his humans. He is currently sleeping at the foot of the big bed, on top of the covers. He stays put through the night.

Harvey would prefer to be an “only dog”, but he does get along with other dogs. His preference is for human companionship. He is OK with children, and behaves nicely as they pet him. If you have a cat, Harvey is fine with that too. He is a mellow kind of guy, and bears cats no ill will.

Harvey is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, microchipped, and just had a dental cleaning.

Harvey is a little insecure as he transitions to a new and better life as a spoiled, pampered pet. Every day, he becomes more confident, and his silly, happy personality is coming out. Harvey needs a home with someone who will love him unconditionally, forever. Harvey matters and he deserves to be loved.

Is that person you? Can you let little Harvey into your heart? Please email Roberta at rgreenberg54@gmail.com for more pictures and personal observations. Please allow 24 hours for a returned e-mail reply. If you do not receive a reply, you may phone: 818-813-3631.
