Popeye or "Pops" for short was
rescued and brought in for care. We volunteer with a kitty rescue group. He had extensive wounds and burns on his body. The wounds were filled with Maggots and he had lice.
It was recommended that he be euthanized. Since we rescue this was not acceptable! He was neutered, rabies shot, cleaned up and got treated for lice.
We brought him home and treated his wounds for weeks, got rid of the lice and nursed him back to health.
We are so happy we did!! Months later and with much love he has become the sweetest and most loving boy.
He is totally up to date medically.
In this pic he has some food on his face, and he is now out of his crate. He has been out and about with our kitties and he is a doll!!
The only thing missing is a forever home, and someone to love!
