Delilah's Story...
Hi, I'm Delilah! I am a very sweet and gentle beagle mix and I'm about 30 lbs. I love to play with other dogs and I probably wouldn't mind playing with cats either! I came from a hoarder with a litter of puppies:( Thankfully, all my babies found homes and now I'm ready to find mine too! I can be a little nervous or unsure of new things but with love and patience I warm up! I'm healthy and spayed now and I have all my vaccines. I should be all finished with my training and ready to go home at the end of February. I'd love to meet my new forever family soon!

Delilah is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a Richmond Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
