Albany's Story...
Albany is 1 of 10 puppies in a litter born on November 29th to Isolde. Isolde was pulled from a high-kill shelter already very pregnant. We have no way of knowing what breed mix the father was. She is a puggle, pug/beagle mix. She is a medium breed dog currently 42 pounds.

Albany has medium-length fur and has a wide black strip down her back. She's very playful very friendly very talkative and enjoys very much being with her siblings and toys. She has been dewormed every 2 weeks since birth and is paper trained.

Albany is currently being fed Royal Canin medium breed puppy food. She has a very healthy appetite. She yearns to be with people as much as she can. We believe she will grow to be a medium sized dog.

Albany will be vaccinated on January 28th and ready to go to her new home. A fully fenced yard and a Veterinary reference is mandatory in order to apply for Albany.

If you wish to apply for Albany, please visit our website at barksandmeows.ca and click on her bio for an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Albany, a Duart Pug/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Duart, or seeking a Pug/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
