My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How does one spell sweet? B A I L E Y

That's right if this young lady was any sweeter we would have to put a candy wrapper around her.

Bailey and her owner found each other at an adoption event about 5 years ago. Her owner, who was looking for a black lab to adopt saw Bailey. Bailey worked her magic charms and the rest is history.

Since then, the 2 have been together and Bailey has had a great life. Proper walking, basic training, playing with other dogs that live close by and plenty of cuddling at night were all part of Bailey's life. But as we all know, nothing lasts forever.
Bailey's owner became ill. Doctors appointments, testing, medicines and more testing only to have the final result end up being cancer.
More bothered about Bailey's future then her own, the owner reached out to a rescue to help to make sure Bailey will be loved and cared for before her own final preparations need to be made.

Bailey is as sweet, sweet, sweet as they come. Eager to please, loves to play, walks like a champion on a leash and in her own way, knows something isn't right at home.

Bailey is fostered with 2 black labs, one Alpha and one Beta and Bailey likes that she is just one of the pack just fine. Bailey is a laid back young lady. She likes to play but is just as happy taking a long walk and stopping to smell the roses too.
Too much energy in her face is uncomfortable for her. Bailey does wonderful with dogs that are closer to her own age.
Bailey is NOT a fan of cats at all.

Bailey is a Boxer/American Bulldog mix, 5 years old, approximately 65 pounds, housebroken, UTD on vaccinations, spayed and micro chipped.
