My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is a one-year-old medium haired black male cat. Duncan came to us from a neighborhood that contained many abandoned and stray cats. Kindly residents had taken Duncan in, and several others as well, to save them from certain death living on the streets. These kindly residents did the best they could, but they could only help so many, and Duncan came to us so we could help too.
Duncan arrived with a bad upper respiratory infection; antibiotics, good food, and warmth had him back in good health in a short period. Duncan is very calm, sweet and playful. He loves to be scratched under the chin, and will close his eyes and throw little “guppy” kisses at you…it is the cutest thing! Duncan is well socialized with both humans and other cats. He’s a beautiful boy, with silky black hair, emerald green eyes, and the cutest chunky cheeked face. If you’re looking for a sweetie on four paws, we have Duncan available!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
