My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noma is a five-year-old grey tabby female cat. We suspect Nina spent most her life on the streets, trying to survive. A local bakery owner fed her, and when his business closed, Nina was once again on her own trying to scavenge food. New residents to the neighborhood saw her plight, and fed her and allowed her access to their basement. Nina became so adept at recognizing kindness and companionship that when one of the residents would walk their little Chihuahua in a nearby park, Nina would tag along! Nina became quite friendly with the little dog, and while he was exploring the area Nina would occupy herself with wrapping around the resident’s legs, being rewarded with pets and attention. She then trotted along for the return journey home! The residents had to move after five years, and concerned for Nina’s safety and health, brought her to us. They also had a very large dog, and were afraid to try to bring Nina into the home because it might injure her. They gave Nina a bridge to know another way of life than the lonely and uncertain existence of living on the streets. We want Nina to know that is only the beginning of the bridge, and that at the end of it lies her family and forever home. She’s a beautiful girl, and you can see the hopefulness in her eyes when you stop to visit her and give her attention. If you have room in your heart and home for this charming girl, we suspect you’ll get that love back twofold!
