Hello there! My name is Sunset. I'm a 1.5 year old female Boxer/Shepherd mix. I weigh around 55 pounds but, as you can probably tell, I'm a little too skinny. I really like food though and I never skip a meal, so achieving a healthy weight shouldn't take me too long. I'm spayed, microchipped, current on my vaccines, so I'm all ready to move in to my new home.
I would describe myself as sweet, gentle and easy going. I'm a fun-loving gal who's always looking for my next big adventure. I love going on walks and exploring the world. I think I would enjoy hikes, doggy parks, dog beaches and going anywhere you want to go! I get along great with everyone I meet, humans and canines alike.
For no fault of my own, my previous owner decided they were no longer able to care for me, and they dumped me and my senior brother at the pound. Can you believe someone would do that? I thought family was supposed to be forever! It's their loss though, because I'm truly an amazing dog with lots of love to give.
It didn't take long for some volunteers at the shelter to take notice of my beauty and charm. They immediately told CageFree about me, and the next thing I knew, I was in a car on my way over to meet my new friends at their facility. Now all that's left to complete my story is a happy ending. I'm hoping my perfect forever home comes along soon!
