'My name is Teddy and the last six months have been wild, but I am finally healthy and ready to find a forever home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can see if we might be a match. I am a Chow Chow mix and have many attributes of the breed. I can be aloof at times and at other times I love attention. In many ways I am like a cat – I do what I want when I want, but you will love me for it! If you love Chow Chow you will LOVE me!
'I am born to be downright suspicious of strangers, but for the right person, I will be a fiercely loyal companion. I would make a wonderful protection dog and alert you when visitors come to the door or into your yard. I also LOVE food. Like love, love, love it. I once enjoyed an Arby’s sandwich. (It sure was nice of them to leave that out on the table for me.)
'When I was rescued I had a horrible ring around my neck where someone hurt me, but since then I have healed. My foster mom really helped me heal medically and emotionally. My ideal home would be with no cats or other animals, but I can live with some submissive females in the right environment. Right now I am staying at BarkTown Atlanta in Norcross, GA. You can visit me seven days a week; just call 770-628-2800 to make an appointment. Visit www.barktownatl.com for directions and information. I would love to meet you!'
