Additional info: Candy came into the shelter as a stray where she was a firm favorite with the staff. She was scared and would hide under her bed, unseen to the public. Since she has been in foster care she she has come out of her shell completely and she is thriving! She is now a cuddler who loves to sit in your lap and give kisses. Her bubbly personality has come through. Candy has had incidents in the past when she has fear nipped before she got to know someone really well but she has improved by leaps and bounds in recent months. Candy is a gentle soul who was giving kisses during her freedom ride and was peering out the window so excited to see the outside world. There is another dog in her foster home and we think that is why she settled in so well. They play together and she follows him around the house. She is still a little nervous and will jump at sudden or fast movements and she gets anxious in her crate. She has had pups. Poor thing has a chunk missing from the tip of one ear. But It just adds to her charm. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball, her favorite thing to do is to give kisses.
