My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"If you're looking for a loving lap dog, please check me out. My name is BUDDY, and for good reason. I'm a six-year-old Chihuahua mix fellow whose main ambition in life is to sit in a nice person's lap. I feel so safe and secure in somebody's lap! I think you'll find that you, too, will feel relaxed when I climb into your lap. I get along really well with other dogs; I'm very gentlemanly and accommodating. Be sure to ask the nice staff to take us out to the play yard together so we can get acquainted. I'm a little overwhelmed here at the shelter, so I tend to stay in my bed when people come by. I'll feel much more comfortable out in the yard. Of course, I'll want to sit in your lap after you sit down on the bench. As a somewhat sensitive boy, I'd probably do best in a quiet, adult home. I sure hope you'll come visit me soon. I'm really looking forward to feeling loved and appreciated in my new home. I promise to return that love to you in even greater amounts. Love, Buddy"
