Puddy is a 4 year-old 17 pound chi-min pin mix. She is full of personality and loves nothing better than snuggling with her person - she can be a bit like velcro. Puddy came to us from a chaotic home situation (with possible abuse) and can be a bit skittish when she first meets new people and cowers when offered treats. She is good with other dogs, but she will probably do best in a quiet home where she can get the attention she craves and continue to learn to trust humans. Puddy does like to play with other dogs and her people but shows little interest in toys.
Puddy will require patience and a gentle hand but will be very loving, affectionate and loyal. She is crate trained and house trained, although she will sometimes resist going out on her own in cold weather and will instead sneak out of sight to relieve herself. Up until coming into foster care, she was kept outside in the cold so likely she has some fear of not being able to come back into the house.
Puddy is a very quiet girl and could live in an apartment. She doesn't need much space, just a warm lap to snuggle in and lots of love (and treats).
