Jack's Story...
Jack is a really nice 2 year old cat with a little bit of a feisty side to his personality. He came to us after being rescued from the streets of Dorchester. He loves his out of cage time and uses it to lounge on the cat trees, look out the windows and play with toys. When he is done getting attention he will let you know with a swipe, so he would probably need a home with no young children.

To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out our Cat and Kitten Adoption Application: http://www.medfieldshelter.com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Medfield Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Medfield, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Medfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
