My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain Joey here makes a ton of funny noises when he plays, and loves to smirk while laying at your feet to get your attention. He'll lick your hand while you pet him and insist on a belly rub (again, he's calling the shots). Get a visit with this guy today - just pick up a laser toy or cat dancer and he'll start up some pretty fun conversation. And then, you can just follow his lead, since that's the way the Captain likes to roll. This sweet boy is amazingly calm for a youngster and would be a good fit in many households. Captain Joey was born June 2016 and his special kitty friend is Clyde.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com to learn more. Photos by Kari Peters
