My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~Callie, Cami & Caden were rescued from the Holly Springs Animal Shelter in MS. The puppies were owner surrendered to the shelter by the owner. He explained that they were born on 11/26/2016 in his backyard to his Siberian Husky , who had mated with his German Shephard. Two weeks after the puppies were born the Mother died from what animal control thinks was a hemorrhage, because the owner said she had not stopped bleeding since birth per the owner. She had 5 puppies, but the owner said two puppies died because they would not stay in the dog house during Winter temperatures. We were told the Mother was a Siberian Husky black and white with blue eyes. The father was a German Shephard who has now been reported to animal control as “missing” and we do have a photo of him.  The puppies as of 01/21/2017 are 8 weeks old. They have so far received baths, 10/1 vaccine, bordetello vaccine, been dewormed and been checked by our vet. They are all healthy and happy puppies. They love romping with their foster siblings in the house. We will not let them outside until they have had two more rounds of vaccinations. All three are very loving and cuddly and very social. They also still have puppy breath! We would like to place them for adoption in the MidSouth area where we can complete the above vetting.

Thanks for choosing rescue!

We apologize for the inconvenience. We have been having issues receiving and sending emails through our website. We have cc’d a “Yahoo” email (hhh.adoption@yahoo.com) in this correspondence as a backup to insure we receive any further correspondence, so please respond “all” when replying. Below is a description of each dog in our rescue  (available & under medical care). Please complete the application and return it to go forward in the adoption process.

All of our rescues are temperament tested around children of all ages, small and large dogs and cats. They all have basic training, IE; sit; down, come and walking on a lead. We are not a shelter, we are a rescue and all of our rescued dogs are kept in individual foster/volunteers homes. This gives them sometimes their first taste of having a family and being part of that family. Also, it provides us with the understanding of each individual rescue to match them to your family lifestyle and dynamics. As soon as we receive your application back, we will phone you to set up a home visit/meet & greet. If you are out of our area, we would request another rescue and/or veterinary office complete the home visit.

Our adoption fees arrange from $100.00, $250.00 to $350.00 for all puppies we have completed 4 10/1 vaccinations and 4 bordetello vaccinations and the rest of the vetting we provide below. Our adoption fees are based on the cost of vetting, transport and care for each one of our dogs individually. Each Photo has adoption fee at bottom of description. All of our rescues are completely vetted prior to adoption. Also, completed prior to adoptions are heartworm treatments as needed, any medical conditions treated (IE; allergies, demedex, etc.) and any surgeries for dogs coming into the rescue injured (IE; car accidents, etc.). Below is the vetting that all of our rescues receive prior to adoption. We only pull dogs from shelters and approximately 80% of our rescues come into the rescue heartworm positive. Those rescues are treated for heartworms prior to adoption.

Vetting;   adults; 1~5/1 OR 7/1 OR 10/1's DA2PPvL (NOTE: Depending on the shelter they were rescued from and IF the pull fee covered vaccinations. If shelter does not vaccinate then our rescue does a 10/1 vaccination when the dog is rescued.) Booster 10/1 30 days after arriving DA2PPvL   puppies; 3~7/1's DA2PPvL OR 9/1 OR 10/1 depending on age of puppies,   bordetello vaccine (3 bordetello vaccines for puppies)  rabies vaccine & tag   microchip & tag   Pyrantel (twice)   heartworm tested @ 6 months or older   fecal tested   Spayed/Neutered   Heartworm Preventative (every month they are in rescue)   Flea preventative (every month they are in rescue)   New collar& tags  4Health Grain Free White fish& Potato

We do complete home visits prior to being approved. They are not designed to turn adopters down, but to point out safety issues for this breed. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
