My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Cocoa! I turned 1 in November, 2016 and I'm a really happy and friendly girl. I weigh about 55 pounds and am 22" at the shoulder. I love to play with other dogs of all sizes, and I'm really respectful to them too. I've been around people of all ages and sizes, my favorite people are the ones who will let me snuggle with them on the couch, I'm an Equal Opportunity Lover! I know a few basic commands: come, sit, and down. I'm crate trained (I go in my kennel when I'm told “kennel”), and house broken. While my family loves me more than anything, they live in the country with lots of fun critters to chase and they're afraid I'll get hurt if I keep chasing the chickens so they want me to have a home away from those things where I can stay safe. While I'm good with the little kitty who lives here, my mom thinks it'd be best for me to live in a house with only other dogs as my animal friends. My mom says I am the best foster dog she has ever had.

Our adoption fee is a $200.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
