My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****SAFE*****

Meet Maggie! She is an absolute dollface and sweeter than the sweetest glass of southern sweet tea! She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Shepherd mix, approximately 10 months old, and weighs about 50 pounds. Unfortunately her previous owners did not keep her on heartworm prevention so she does have heartworms, but she is a light positive so with the proper treatment, she will be just fine and live a long healthy life! She is a very docile dog with a pretty laid back personality, so she would be the perfect girl to snuggle up with on the couch this winter while watching movies and drinking a nice cup of hot coffee (or whatever it is you like to drink during the cold winter months). She does great with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind a few cats either!

Maggie has been at the shelter since 11-4-16. We must find her an adoptive or foster home IMMEDIATELY! Maggie is tired of living her life in a crate and desperately wants a family of her own. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP MAGGIE!!!!!!

Adoption Fee $200.00

**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**

**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
