My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeke is an adorable 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who loves to play! He is a small dog at under 20 lbs but he is highly energetic and needs a home that can provide plenty of daily physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. Zeke is a smart boy and his favorite activity is playing soccer! He also likes to cuddle and get affection from his people. Zeke is in a foster home with two female dogs (see posting for Savannah) and plays well with both. He does often require slow introductions to new dogs. Zeke is fully housetrained and is currently crated during the workday. Zeke would do best in a home with a fenced back yard and would not be well suited for apartment life. He loves adventures and is a good car rider so he would be an ideal dog for hiking and can surely keep up on the most difficult trails! He would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who can continue his training and set appropriate boundaries. Zeke is a typical adolescent dog who likes to explore and will often get into mischief so he needs owners who are prepared to manage his environment and directly supervise him when he is uncrated. Zeke is the life of the party and provides constant entertainment!

His foster mom would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions that you may have if you think Zeke might be the perfect dog for you!

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.
