My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy's mom passed away after being in and out of hospitals and a nursing home. Lucy has been in boarding for several weeks and we are looking desperately for a new home for this super friendly and lovable miniature Dachshund. Lucy is 12 years young, very healthy and up to date with all her shots and vaccinations. Her mom's son will cover all her vet bills for live-time. Lucy always lived as a single dog and got all the love of her mom. She prefers to be the only dog. Unfortunately, the son cannot give her a home because he is working long hours, and it wouldn't be fair to Lucy to be left alone all day long. It's not that our family doesn't want her, but we all have multi-dog households and Lucy wouldn't be happy. Please, if you know of a loving home for this sweet mature girl let me know.
