My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES CAMERON INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!

Cameron was found as a stray or as we say 'dumped off' on the streets of Memphis, Well that was his lucky day because now he was away from his neglectful owners who gave him substandard care at best. Consistently not fed enough or given routine care was evident, He was feeling terrible and looked as bad as he felt. IDGSR pulled him into safety and off to the vet he went where he received a litany of tests, medications and the care he needed for a badly neglected dog.

It has taken a few months for Cameron to overcome the extreme neglect and rebuild, regain and feel like a happy fella again. He is living indoors with his foster mom, eating great, gaining weight and is a happy camper as he regains his strength. He is slowly gaining a couple of pounds a week and still can gain another 15-20 lbs. He is approx. 3 yrs. old, good with other dogs, loves people and would fare well with a large breed female dog in the home or he'd do just fine as the only dog with your undying attention and devotion to him. He is crate trained but is pretty well behaved in the home and has a respectful nature and good temperament.

If you would like to make Cameron a member of your family, please copy and paste the link below and apply on our website.
