Barney's Story...
Hi my name is Barney, aren't I adorable? Thats what my foster mama says about me and my four brothers. We came into St francis with our mama Babette when we were tiny babies. Now we're all grown up into fun loving little kittens. We are all very affectionate and crave human interaction. Of course since we are still kittens we play A LOT, everything is a toy. We can find the fun in everything. We all really love each other and hope there is someone out there looking for a pair of awesome brother kittens. If not I hope my forever family will have a kitty at home who needs a buddy so I won't be lonely. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Barney

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
