Raphael's Story...
Hi my name is Raphael, like from teenage mutant ninja turtles! Me and my four brothers were very sick and being given away on Facebook "free to good homes". Luckily our foster mama saw the post and they signed us over to the rescue. We are now all better and looking for forever families. I heard black kitties are the very last to find homes, I hope this isn't true. We are such great kitties! We are shy when meeting new people as we didn't have much human interaction our first weeks of life but once we realize you're okay we are little purr machines. I would do best in a home with one of my siblings or another young friendly cat. I hope to meet you soon and see if we are a purrfect match! Love, Raphael

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raphael, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
