My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ooooooooh Nelly!! Cute? Yes! Full of energy? Yes! Cuddly? Yes! Nelly was left tethered at a CircleK. When a volunteer inquired about her the employee pointed to a man who told her he could not keep her. The volunteer rushed to speak to the coward who just tied this helpless pup to a pole. "How can you just leave this puppy tethered to a pole and walk away", she asked? He had to catch a buss to Tucson! So, fast forward a few weeks later and Ms. Nelly has been in our care and is thriving. She is simply full of fun, loving puppy-ness! She loves life! She loves anything that has a heartbeat and everything that does not. Nelly is a puppy! Puppies need patient people and lots of love and direction. One day, she will understand it all. Nelly is currently in foster and her mom tells us she does wonderfully with her other two dogs and cat. We feel strongly that Nelly must go to a home with another doggie to pounce with. She is quickly learning the potty thing and loves to snuggle. And, of course, she is really cute!
