My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I am REBEL but don’t let my name concern you, I am really a big softie. I am a friendly guy who loves my people. Because my family abandoned me before in the scary shelter, I am really scared of being left alone again. So that means I want my family around me all the time – I mean like all the time – I even try to follow my foster mommy into the bathroom! All I want is for someone to cuddle me and play with me. I think I make a good lap dog if I do say so myself! I want so much love that if my foster family stops petting me, I need to remind them to continue by poking them with my paw or jumping on them. Because of that and because I am sometimes a little rough when they give me treats with their hands, I think my forever family should not have small children. But aside from that, I am actually not really a “rebel” at all because I already know some basic commands like sit and lie down. I am also pretty much housetrained (although I did like to announce my presence by marking my foster family’s home but since then, I have done all my business outside). I am having a great time playing with my furry foster brothers as well and like other dogs a lot! We like to run in the yard and play fetch (even though I won’t give up the ball when I catch it) and wrestle. I am loving this time with my foster family but I am really hoping that my next home is my forever one because I was so sad and hurt before when my family left me behind. But my foster family tells me that was really their loss because I am such a loving and special dog and some family will be so happy when I join them. If you want a happy go lucky, fun-loving cuddle bug , then I may be the right guy for you and you should apply for me today!
