Hello! My name is Maxx. I am about 3-5 years old, about 10 lbs and 12 inches at the shoulder. I am very sweet and easy to have around. Just ask my foster mom she says I am a chill dog and a love bug. I love scratches behind my ear and on my face. I love to cuddle and will even give you a gentle head-butt. If you stop scratching me then I will paw at you for more. I am great with children as young as 6 who are gentle with me and other humans, great with other dogs and I could get along with cats but I just need a little direction from you.
I am a champ on a leash and get excited when I see it. I love to play fetch so if you have a toy in your hand I will bark for you to throw it. My most favorite thing to do is to go under the blankets with you. I am food motivated and house trained. I do great on car rides. I like to explore the world with you and go to parks. I will alert you when we have a visitor. My foster mom says that when I go outside to the backyard she can see me do a type of run/jump which reminds her of a deer. I would like to have another doggie in my home if my new people are gone for a full day of work. I’m very social and would be lonely left alone all day with no buddy.
Maxx’s adoption fee is $250.00 and he is being fostered in Dublin, CA
All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
