Scarlet's Story...
Scarlet is an all natural beauty who will be stunning once she fully recovers from her neglectful past. When she came to us she was emaciated, walking skin and bones, but she has been making a steady recovery since her arrival. Scarlet is a young adult who is equally active and easy going with a sweet disposition. She is quite dog social but lives for the attention from her family. There is some prey drive in Scarlet so even though she hasn't shown any aggression, her interest in really small dogs and cats is intense enough that we think she would do best in a home with larger dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
