Chevy's Story...
It’s amazing how quickly this girl can sneak right into your heart… Meet Chevy, an All-American Tail Wagger. She is a young, spunky girl who has come a long way in her foster home already. She is very social and wants to play nicely with cats and other dogs and is very gentle around kids. She came with what seems to be prior crate training experience and is catching on to house training like a champ. She is very smart and learning her basic commands. She has a very sweet disposition and seems to be a snuggly bundle of cuteness when she cuddles next to you. She loves to love! Her favorite things to do is play with her toys… something we don’t think she got to do a lot of before. All Chevy needs now is a Best Family Forever to keep teaching her how to be the best dog she can be and to let her give lots and lots of kisses. It’s not hard to love this girl… fill out an application and meet her! You can find the application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chevy, a Toledo Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
