Pancake is a female Schnauzer/Poodle mix approximately 3 years old. She is a nice sized girl, not too big and not too small, weighing in at 17 pounds full grown. Pancake has a silky silver and charcoal gray coat with chocolate brown highlighting on her ears and tail and a little bit around her face. She has been professionally groomed and unfortunately had to be shaved due to tangled and unkempt fur. Pancake appears to be non-shedding and her coat is longer (more like the fur on her ears and face). She has deep brown eyes and a tail that waves like a flag behind her. Pancake is a very affectionate people dog. She absolutely adores being loved and being with her people. She will do anything to please you and tries hard to understand your wishes. She is very responsive to voice commands and appears to be quite intelligent. For instance, if you tell her to go lay down in her bed, she will go do it. Pancake knows "sit" and is learning "stay". She is great with kids, fun and playful as well as very loving. Pancake gets along fine with other dogs once she gets to know them and likes to romp around and play with her canine friends. She is just as happy on her own with her people and family and although she loves to be with you she will settle down in a dog bed and wait for you like a good girl if you have to go somewhere. Pancake walks well on leash and has a good amount of energy for brisk walks or even hikes. She rides like a champ in the car and is always up for an adventure. As you may have seen from our website, Pancake is unique and somewhat famous in our rescue. She was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where she was brought in stray. Pancake had one of the biggest abdominal hernias we have ever seen. This was completely repairable through surgery and Pancake has healed remarkably well. She is a survivor and a strong, healthy dog. Pancake deserves a normal life with a loving, caring family that she can call her own. She will love you back wholeheartedly and bring warmth into your home that only a loyal furry friend can. Pancake has been vet checked, is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
Pancake’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
