My name is Sam!

Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Seattle, Washington - Sam

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sam's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sam's Story...
My name is Sam and I am a 10 year old healthy long-coat boy.

This is my second time around in this Rescue because the senior couple that adopted me, couldn't take care of me any more. I am a little skittish, but I do get along with other dogs in my foster home.

I am up-to-date on my shots, had my teeth cleaned, neutered & have a microchip.

If you want to know more about me or meet me,
you can email my Foster Mom at crandr@chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com.

My adoption fee is $200 + my one-time microchip registration fee of $10.99. I am also available on CR&R's Seniors 4 Seniors adoption program.

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked and a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website: www.chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com

Foster homes are needed in Washington State. Application, must be over 18, references and home visit required. Very rewarding. We foster Chihuahuas and Chi mixes usually under 8#.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
