Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable little Missy is approximately 10 years old and desperately needs her own home and warm lap. Just a bit over 9yrs ago she was rescued from a bad situation where she was kept outside 24/7 and was in terrible condition. Her new family brought her back to good health, loved her, taught her how to live with a family and other dogs, but have now lost their home and have had to give up Missy. She is very confused and a bit frightened with all the changes, but she remains a sweet girl. Because she is still trying to figure out why all the changes in her life, she is a bit insecure when initially meeting people. Within just a short time and with gentleness and patience, she quickly opens up and seeks lots of affection from her person. She is wonderful with children and her favorite thing is a good cuddle. She would do best in a calm home with another little dog with which she can share a warm doggy bed. It would be ideal if her person was either retired or worked from home.
